Medical Billing Specialist
Ann Arbor Location | Full-timeWorks closely with 3rd party Billing Service and Practice management to ensure accuracy/efficiency in medical billing, patient account management, timely collections and patient eligibility.
We’re looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, a great attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and 2+ years of recent experience. CPC is a plus, but not required. Significant growth opportunity.
- Accurately posting patient payments and refunds.
- Reviews patient’s bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information.
- Answers the billing phone line promptly and courteously.
- Respond timely to payer denials using insurance appeal policies and specified office policies.
- Manage insurance claims and appeals for timely follow-up and resolution.
- Gather appropriate clinical documentation to complete proper medical review and appeals.

Histotech - Mohs
Ann Arbor Location - Part-timeThe role of the Histotech-Mohs is to provide high-quality histologic specimens for microscopic evaluation and review by the Mohs Surgeon while also serving the needs of the Mohs laboratory.
We’re looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, a great attitude, outstanding communication skills, and a minimum of one (1) year of Histology, Mohs or relevant laboratory experience. Significant growth opportunity.
- Prepares quality slides for microscopic examination by embedding specimens and performing the sectioning of frozen specimens using the
- Cryostat
- Performs routine H&E stains for microscopic diagnosis by the Mohs Surgeon
- Mounts, labels and stains the slides
- Retains Mohs related specimens according to protocols
- Maintenance of applicable laboratory equipment including cleaning and calibration
- Maintains quality control records for equipment and instruments
- Prepares and maintain adequate stock of reagents and other materials needed for the laboratory
- Recognizes laboratory equipment issues/concerns and take appropriate corrective action
