Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is one of the supporting substances our skin loses with age, and the dermal fillers on this page are made from it, naturally derived or synthetic. We offer HA fillers at all three of our offices, including Wixom and Plymouth.

A consultation always comes first. Tell us about your health, the medicines and supplements you take and any past cosmetic treatments, and we will look at your areas of concern together.
Your injector then recommends a filler or fillers, or another of our treatments, such as microneedling, if it fits your goals better.
Dermal Filler FAQs
The boost in volume and skin health provided by Juvéderm has been shown to last for a minimum of six months and, in certain cases, up to two years. Touch-ups are advisable every six to twelve months to retain the most noticeable benefits. Everyone processes dermal fillers differently, so your results may vary.
When used for shaping or filling, dermal fillers can provide volume and other benefits for six months to one year. Dermal fillers work much like your body’s own supportive substances, healing and plumping skin to smooth out wrinkles. No, dermal fillers and botox are not interchangeable. Botox is a neurotoxin that lightly paralyzes facial muscles to prevent the development or worsening of fine lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers restore volume to sunken skin to reduce sagging and folding. While both treatments are injectables, they are not the same.
We numb the area before your injections, and most of our patients find it a comfortable procedure.
Fillers are priced by the syringe, and the number of syringes depends on the areas treated, so your injector goes over the cost with you at your consultation, before any treatment. Insurance does not cover treatment that reduces signs of aging, the AAD notes. When we run a filler special, it is listed on our exclusive offers page.
