Program Overview

Ganger Dermatology provides text messaging services for healthcare communications when patients consent by sharing their mobile number. Consenting to receive text messages is not
required as a condition of purchasing any goods or receiving treatment.

Message Types

Patients may receive texts including:

Appointment reminders and confirmations
One-time verification codes for secure message access
Check-in notifications upon office arrival
Practice updates related to care or services

Consent Methods

Patients can consent to receive text messages through:

In-office registration
The patient portal
Verbal agreement with staff
Using SMS verification for secure messages

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and care needs. You may receive up to 15 messages per month. Actual volume depends on your scheduled visits and care
activity.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Ganger Dermatology does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply. Contact your carrier for
details about your plan.

Opt-Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from Ganger Dermatology. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your access to care, appointments, or other communications.
